JAN SEATON, INSTRUCTOR
Affectionately referred to as “Mrs. Weird” by her students due to her contributions to the Weird Science program, Jan Seaton has 30 plus years of experience working in the Bloomfield Hills School District in both elementary and middle school education. During her time in the district she has run numerous after school clubs and has also been in charge of the yearbooks and the award winning student driven school newspaper at West Hills Middle School. In 2018 is was awarded the Bloomfield Hills Schools Distinguished Service Award given to district staff members to recognize extraordinary contributions and service.
Throughout her life she has also volunteered and been a board member on various civic organizations as well as being active in leadership roles with PTO organizations and Boy Scouts.
